Dr. Sullivan (DC, DNM, BD, PhD, DSM) is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has held licenses to practice chiropractic in Colorado, Mississippi, and Washington. In addition, he has held licenses in psychotherapy in Washington, Florida and Colorado.  After obtaining a Master of Arts degree in psychology from Antioch University and a doctoral degree from Union Institute, he earned a Doctor of Natural Medicine certificate from the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. Dr. Sullivan obtained his acupuncture diploma at the National Chinese TAI-EE Acupuncture College which was founded in 1836 at Fuken, China. He has also completed acupuncture diplomas in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Ottawa School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Supplementing these diplomas and degrees, he holds diplomas in Biofeedback.

Dr. Sullivan is also a member of the Medicine wheel Society of First Nations, an independent esoteric spiritual organization of ordained ceremonial ministers of First Nation Church, Sacred Way First Nation Assemblies and ONAC. These ministers engage in natural healing methods of emotional, physical and spiritual problems in accordance with historic spiritual traditions and teachings of American Indians specifically Kituwa and Cherokee First Nation. Dr. Sullivan’s practice specialized in Natural Medicine and the IBEM Medicine Wheel as well as the following therapies:

  • Auricular Medicine, a needle-less and painless therapy applied to various acupuncture points on the ear, to treat a vast array of disorders, and
  • Bioenergetic Medicine, a combination of biofeedback testing and therapy with homeopathic, herbal, and nutritional therapies.
In addition, Dr. Sullivan taught at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for 16 years. He also is a member of “The Central Band of Cherokee” Roll Number 2002, the Oklevueha Native American Church, and a member of the Mishi-Mackinack Confederacy of Ojibwe and Odawa Indian Reservation.

In 2007, Dr. Sullivan founded the Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine (IBEM), the first doctoral program for Bioenergetic Medicine in North America. Through IBEM, Dr. Sullivan has been able to pursuie a lifelong goal to nurture, educate and certify dedicated and passionate students in Auricular, Biofeedback, Natural Medicine, and Bioenergetic Medicine. IBEM also offers extensive coursework in other areas such as Medicine Wheel, Capno Breath training, Spondilotherapy, Violet Ray Therapy and diseasr management, as well as a host of other classes. Dr. Sullivan personally teaches many of these classes on a regular basis, further demonstrating his commitment to wellness and healing. He is also a Board Member.
